This new website is being developed by Shapinsay Tourism Group - a community based group on the Orkney island of Shapinsay.

The plan is to have a fully working information based web site up and running before the Summer season 2010. It is hoped that additional information will continue be added indefinitely. This further development will include files for download which provide more detailed information for those who wish to know a bit more about our island and its heritage.

Alongside the website an additional online resource known as - Around Shapinsay - is being created using Google Maps and Google Earth. We hope that this will help visitors find their way around our beautiful island.
